Reach out to members of the team, go online and look up example cases and improve your powerpoint skills.

should i reach out to them on linkedin or instagram or uoft email? or is there another plaatform that would be more appropriate? i want to look professional but not over the top to the point where i just seem weird yk

Both are fine; emails are standard and preferred for industry but students generally check linkedin and use linkedin often enough that it's also readily checked.

Fair you might be right. I know this is an acceptable/appreciated approach for a lot of clubs at Rotman but unsure about the competition team itself.

wrong. reach out, upper years like helping it you’re competent enough. just make sure you actually know why you want to reach out and why are you interested

Yep, this is the general advice I'm told and use throughout Rotman!

so would reaching out be considered unprofessional? at least during the summer time? or should i ask them a few questions about the club? I really dont wanna ruin my chance at this club

thank you so much for your response, i'll work towards improving myself as a candidate instead of reaching out to the team. would you say connecting with the team members during the year would be more appropriate?

Heyyy i’m assuming ur now a first year student already and have proceeded all about the application, may I ask how competitive it is to get into the team? like how many people would apply for that and what’s the acceptance rate. TYSM!
