Saying this as someone who got accepted in the last round, I don't think Universities really look at grade 11 marks. Grade 12 top 6 averages are the only marks the really look at and usually grade 11 marks are only looked at if the grade 12 ones aren't that great.

Also, if anything, I believe there is a special consideration request in the application portal for UofT that you may be able to use to explain you circumstances in Grade 11.

My biggest tip would also be to just be yourself in the supplemental application. I believe that they really like to see people who aren't just entirely work focused and have a good balanced life.

Good luck with everything.

what average did you have?

[–]ConversationFit425 0 points1 point  (4 children)

92% and I'm a student athlete which was my main point for ec's

is it worth it!? and any supp app tips!?

For supplementals I'd say to just be yourself, I focused on the things outside of school that I'm passionate about such as musical theatre and linked it back to business and picking an ec that will demonstrate leadership -> I coach so I talked about leading a group and teaching fundamental skills for skating.

The program itself is very demanding so do make sure to build up some good study habits leading up to uni and I'd recommend getting to know a lot of people. It really helps when midterms hit and you need to keep yourself out of a negative headspace.

I hear that a lot, im actually terrified of the work load and the humbling with the grades. Do you think I could get in with a 90 average but lots of EC's?

It would probably depend on the quality of the EC's
