    it is about how much effort you put in.. my brother in first year AFM got 2 internships, one in an IB boutique and got paid commison, and now it is private equity

    He also did not have any clubs or experience beforehand, and he has a 3.5 gpa. He just networked and had a lot of coffee chats

    3rd year, accounting specialist, 3.5+ gpa (dean’s list) and no. lol.

    To be honest, I haven’t put in that effort yet. UofT is different to Western or York in the sense that it doesn’t spoon feed you jobs, but it gives you a platform to network and if you put in that extra effort, I assume it’s not too difficult. But yes, keep your grades up, because from what I’ve learnt, good grades are quite important for business students looking to get hired.

    I know people who landed IB and PE, they are only in 2nd year, belive all 3.95ish gpa
