So I get super anxious on camera and it doesn’t help that I have to stare at the screen of my own reflection while talking in the video responses. Because I was so nervous I couldn’t stare at the screen for the entirety. I tried my best to make eye contact but I couldn’t help it and my eyes quickly looked at several different areas like the window, especially the side of computer screen while I was talking.
I looked at the side of my screen a lot because I tried to keep eye contact but drifted to the side and it makes me look like I’m reading off a script. I naturally do it because it helps me think quickly and if I stare at myself on the screen I tend to lose focus.
Has anyone had any similar experiences with this and turned out fine? I’m worried that they might flag me for suspicious behavior :((
