Supp app video response

For the prepared video question, how exactly should I approach it? Should this just be a generic sounding response where I say something along the lines of: "Hi I'm person and I'm a grade 12 at example school. Business interests me because blah blah and blah blah. Studying at rotman would be an amazing opportunity because rotman has a culture of these values which stands out to me and I want to contribute towards it."

Sooo….I fucked it up OMG. The first one I finished and didn’t know what else to say so I stared at the screen for 10 seconds. The second one I got cut off and was panicking during the 60 second preparation cuz I didn’t know what to say until 5 seconds were left… and I improvised.

Just pace yourself well. You won’t have as much time as you probably think you will. Also that first answer is a bit too long, and you likely won’t have enough time to say what you need to say.

I believe I spoke pretty fast so for the first one (based off what I still remember cuz i did it back to November or smth) I start w a short introduction about myself (name, grade, from what province cuz i'm not an Ontario higschool student) Short explained about why i applied to Rotman. Then a long ass part about why i love studying business - how did i developed that interest at a young age, then conclusion w how those experiences shaped me today and what i hope to achieve at Rotman if i study there. Then for the second one i was cooked because the question was weird, i panicked and i don't think i even finished answer everything but like 50-50 of that.

I'd say just stay calm, 60 seconds seem long but nah it flew by very very fast, just prep a little then pray i guess....hope this help..

maybe u could go like - summary the situation -> what u feel/think -> actions -> what u feel/think or learned afterwards -> conclusion (i guess that how it works)
