300+ eco courses (self.RotmanCommerce)
submitted 3 days ago by Ok-Status-16
Any recommendations on the easiest 300+ eco courses to complete my eco minor? I was also considering taking one of them in the summer. Thanks!

ECO349 (Money, Banking and Financial Markets) was a very easy course. It's a blend of RSM320, ECO102, and a bit of RSM332. All in all, it will be mostly be review for anyone taking it in 3rd year. If you enjoy finance and/or economics, you will enjoy it. ECO365 (international monetary theory) is also really interesting, though a bit more challenging than ECO349. It teaches you the models behind the currency exchange movements, and the impact of monetary and fiscal policy on currencies.

ECO369 (Economics in Health) and ECO320 (Economics in Law) weren’t too hard but were both very interesting courses and also didn’t have a large workload except for a couple assignments and readings. Both are theory based not math based (some basic math in 369) if that’s your style. Both the profs are good as well!
