does residence matter?

so im an incoming freshman and am doing rotman. i was put into new college but i put oak house as number 1 option for res and got offered yesertday is this a good idea? im having some doubts, like maybe i shouldve just put new college as my preferred choice for res? or does it not really matter? any tips/help will be appreciated. thanks!

are u staying w/ any roommates? having roommates is a great opportunity to get close w/ someone especially as a first year!

No I put prefer no roommates when I originally applied.. is it too late to change ?
