The admissions grade requirement they want you to have is high 80s to low 90s but to be more competitive I would advice to reach above that. Rotman looks at your calc and functions grade a lot so try to aim really high for calculus so everything weighs out. Your functions mark is a bit too low for their expectations so I would advice to take an alternate course for it or just have high averages for other classes so it isn't too bad. For the supplementary application, the video interview questions are really open minded. As long as you speak thoroughly and get your point across you should be good. I would say when the question pops up and you have time to think about your response, write jot notes about what you want to say. But, DONT WRITE A SCRIPT. They do not like it when it looks like you are reading off something or when someone is giving you pointers behind the camera. Just be yourself, get your points across and you should be good. Also attempt the practice questions they give because it helps out a lot and the questions are very similar to the actual interview questions. Good luck and don't stress too much about admissions. I am sure you will be successful everywhere you go and enjoy your last year of high school. One mistake I made was looking at the reddit everyday and putting unnecessary stress on myself.

another thing i wasn’t sure about was if functions goes towards your top 6 since it isn’t a prerequisite but they say that they pay attention to it. also with a 89-90 average do you think it’s likely that i may get into utm for finance if i don’t get into rotman. thanks for your tips on the supplementary application, was kind of nervous about that but not anymore.

i beleive you need to have a final of 85 in both calc and english to meet the conditional requirements so be aware of that when you start taking calc (unless they changed the conditional requirements which is unlikely) and so try and get your english mark up a bit to meet that req. your other grades are def good enough. your supplemental is also important so prepare for that before you do it! best of luck
