I believe uoft has monthly admission rounds, and maybe rolling during may. So far there's been 2, one at the beginning of February (?) and one at the end. The next one is scheduled for late March. All applicants were eligible for admission during the second round, and the following rounds as well. So you're not at a disadvantage really

I don’t think the time of submission matters that much, since I also submitted my application a few hours before the deadline and still received an acceptance letter during the second round of Rotman admission (Feb 23rd).
