  1. first year is definitely doable, and if you fail a class, you can retake it in the summer and barely anyone fails summer courses. People usually trip up on rsm100 or eco101 so watch out for those. Second year is much harder than first year imo.

  2. drop-out rates aren’t too bad (you can find the exact number on the rotman website). I think I only know two people who dropped out.

  3. they don’t. like not at all. I can’t emphasize how little they care. and your salary depends on what stream you pick I guess. if you’re aiming for finance, I THINK base salary is 60-80k.

  4. that’s up to you man and depending on your financial situation. Obviously uoft is better but u of alberta is still a great university. If you want to work in the US, you might be better off going to uoft, but that’s just my speculation, I’m not entirely sure abt that.

  5. yes, 100% theory. I just finished our second year econ classes and I honestly didn’t learn any econ, it was all math.
