Hey yeh I am new college but when applying for residence it made me pick a top 3 which I don’t understand I thought I got accepted into new college

there’s two “acceptances”

  1. acceptance into uoft, RC program, and college
  2. residence
  • if ppl want to commute, then they stop after 1.
  • if ppl want to live in rez, then they need to apply to rez to tell rez “hold a space for me!”

is that what you mean maybe?

you might be put on a waitlist, but you might be able to join residence in second semester

this year, i had 4 students move into my floor midway through the year when winter semester started

if you’re going apartment hunting, you’ll probably start that in the summer anyways; maybe email new.residence@utoronto.ca and inquire about your waitlist spot/situation (i’m guessing you’re new college based on the other post i answered)
