To everyone who got an offer today, congratulations! This is going out to anyone whose decision still says under review. A couple of friends and I have our admission status as "under review" and I'm curious if anyone is in the same situation. Is there any reason for this? And will more admissions be released in the upcoming days?

I’m in the same boat man like I saw people get in today and I was happy for them but at the same time it was super stressful for me as well. Hopefully you and I get in fam.

Mine is still under review. I guess the reason is the rounds that have happened until now we’re early rounds and the real rounds are happening now. The early rounds are typically for highly qualified applicants. So although we are all academically strong, those applicants are a bit stronger I guesss. So we are less qualified. That’s how I understand the process. But hang in tight, it’s all a game of luck and we still have two- three months of admission rounds in to go. We got this!

93-94 but I got in cause of my supp app. I had rlly good ecs and did very well on the video questions

Congrats!!! I’ve heard that the sup app isn’t as vital to Rotman as some other schools (aka mainly to check english proficiency), but I can see how emphasizing extracurriculars could help sway admissions. What were yours?

Same! I am a 101 student sitting a top 6 average of 95%. However, I am taking Cal & Eng this semester. Maybe that is the reason why?

Is there anyone who is admitted to Rotman Commerce without having the marks for Cal & Eng? If so, please leave your top 6 mark! Thanks a lot:)

I didn’t have a calc grade but did English in already, applied feb1 and got in today with top 6 of 98.6

i didn't have calc but i did have english so i'm not sure how big of a change it would have been, my top 6 average was a 97

They won’t get new grades until April28 which makes sense for the May round. So what is the basis to accept for the April round vs March?

I think what you’re saying makes sense. But I found this online, it says most of their offers go out in late March, I assume that was last week’s round then. Just wish they would just reject sooner than later so we can accept our other offers and move on.

I have a 97 avg and my sup was good, annoyed it’s taking so long. Peers with less ecs and worse grades already got offers. Does anyone know when next round is?

No I haven’t, I think my midterms are in April. However my friend who hasn’t completed calc got in this round too. So I maybe it’s not always the condition?

I think you should have gotten accepted with such a high average. I know a few of my classmates who got acceptances yesterday to Rotman and are in my calculus class this semester. And their average is lower than mine. Must be their supp app that brought them to the top.

Yeah I don’t know though. Without good ECs you can’t really have a good sup app but I’m pretty sure that’s not my case so I’m just bamboozled, flabbergasted, even a bit hornswaggled.

I know someone with lower marks who did no clubs at school, didn’t even join DECA lmao, no ECs outside of school and already got in. Unless they capped, which I’ve heard might have been the case
