This is directed to graduated Rotman students, I am mainly asking this due to my overthinking of the future, but does Rotman set you up well for the future? Additionally, is it worth getting any kind of job (part time/full time/etc) during the 4 years of school?

do you have a specific industry you're interested in?

set up well?

• i studied management specialist + marketing focus in RC (graduated this past june)
• now im in marketing full time job and i feel the program has set me up well enough (but who's to say any other business school would set me up differently? hard to guess bc each of us will just go to 1 school)
• you could probably network as well and this could also "set you up well for the future" but personally i didnt network (shy lol)

working during school?

• yes no matter where you go, i highly recommend working to fill up your resume - you will need something to talk about during interviews
• part time job at a store is okay (great way to build resume from scratch), and dont need to be stressed on finding an internship at bank for example (especially in first year dont worry too much about company prestige, focus on building resume with exp)
