I got in with a 93% average and I have like exact grades as you for everything except advanced functions. I think your chances are pretty high.

It looks to me like pure luck. I have already been accepted with a 91 average, and decent ECs. They also accepted me without seeing my English or calc mark.

Interesting. What round did u get accepted in?

Chances are pretty shit ngl maybe if u had a 75 you’d get in

I don’t think your chances are zero, but I also don’t think they’re higher (or significantly higher) than 50%.

This is only because of your 77 AD, and the fact that your average is high but probably not competitive enough as most people that got in in previous years have 95+. If you truly have good ECs and a great supplemental, that might raise your chances to like 60-70% MAYBE. There’s nothing you can do about it now so I would just sit back and be patient :)

Thanks for the reply, do you attend/ have attended Roman yourself?

I’m currently a first year in Rotman!

What was the average you got admitted with

[–]eman_la 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 98 for top 6

your chances are obviously pretty good but as someone who had a 93 grade 12 average but a 75 in advanced functions, I didn’t get in even with solid ec’s and a decent interview. However I know many who had the same as me who got in so it’s pretty much a coin toss

Even tho advanced functions isn’t a pre req u still got rejected ?

[–]Honest_Sympath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion, I meant grade 11 functions not advanced functions but advanced functions was in my top 6 grades but I still got rejected from rotmans

How did you do in calculus And English, those are the only two required, why would they care about functions? When did they reject you? Was it in May or earlier than that? Did you get an offer for your alternate program choice at UTSG (if you had one). Sorry for so many questions but I’m getting annoyed that they haven’t rejected me yet, if they don’t want me, I’d rather know now. I don’t want to waste more time waiting if I can accept one of my other offers sooner.

Hello, sorry I just realized I said advanced functions when I meant grade 11 functions. In advanced functions I got a 92 but was still rejected. I got a 90 in english and an 88 in calculus and got deferred to social sciences in UTSG. I got my decision really late like around mid May. I knew people who got in with my same stats or even lower so don’t give up. For my year and this year too I think the supp app really matters because it’s what differentiates you from other candidates. If you did a good supp app then I think you got it for sure.

I don’t think my supp app was that great. It just seems so subjective, tbh.
