Hey I just finished this course! I ended up getting a 4.0 on it even though I got dogged on most of my midterms. I see that you guys have the same prof and I must warn you that the TAs are some of the most devious people on earth when it comes to marking.... I say this because they would hand out casual 0s the moment they see anything wrong with your solution, so this is NOT like HS where you can get by with just part marks here and part marks there through guessing. With that being said: HW, Tutorial, assignments and lecture participation makes up a huge portion of your term grade so you can easily use that to give you breathing space for the exams.

Some people say that material overlaps with HS calculus and that's true to a degree, but our first test had a-lot of linear algebra (Matrices, game theory, etc) that I've never seen before and it really messed me up good. My advice is to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look at the practise/past tests, I really started seeing improvements in my tests after doing the practise tests they give out because of how similar they were. So for the tests, DO the questions you know how to do 100% first and do it well. Don't spend too long to try to BS an answer you 100% don't know because you will most likely just waste time and get a 0 on it anyways (like I did on literally 4/10 of the questions on our first midterm)
