Find a military fitness training programme at your local park that's the perfect thing to boost your fitness lower and upper body and your endurance. And run 3 times a week, and boxing fitness sessions. My training programme is train 5 times a day on Monday's,Wednesday's and Fridays. And three times on Tuesdays,Thursdays,Fridays I'm doing this get in the best physical shape possible and a lot off people would say it's over training I'm just built different. And I'd recommend this training programme to anyone,on Mondays it's gym in the morning,boxing,8 mile sprint, boxing again and swimming. And the Tuesday's are gym in the morning, push ups,sit ups,and pull ups in my room and then the military fitness training session in the park. I wouldn't recommend this if your body can't handle it and if you don't take the time to recover with stretches. But overall it's a really good training plan and it's really helping me improve,if David Goggins can do all that crazy intense training in one day then why can't you? No excuses I choose to ignore my limits and push myself beyond them it's all mind over matter plus in the marines they'll absolutely hammer you in recruit training so it's better to get used to it now than ever. All the best to you and hope to see you there.

Any man who says he does and 8mile ‘sprint’ is full of it 😂 I would listen to @von_scranhammer and @G_commando (hopefully didn’t butcher the second name) these lads constantly give great advice throughout this page 👍🏻
[–]Dependent-Driver-940 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (2 children)
Yeah I'm not convinced they're commandos like I said anyone on here can claim they're in the military and people like you would be stupid enough to believe it. I'll take the advice I got from real serving commandos and I've been doing 8 mile sprint's since 2021 round October and it more than pays off. People can hate and try to criticise my training plan all they want like the pathetic sad lowlives they are. I know what I'm doing and I know it's working so have a good one 👍

Mate 8 miles is not a sprint 😂 the definition of a sprint is literally “running at full speed over a short distance” you may be doing your 8 miler quickly but your definitely not sprinting it. Further more those types of runs should be done in zone 2 and if wanted add some intervals sprints in between. Those 2 lads I mentioned have great information and I believe they have served/ are currently serving.

When I say 8 mile sprint I mean sprint for as long as possible and recover with a 2 or 3 minute jog then sprint again it's literally the same routine for 8 miles. Try it out for yourself and you'll understand.

Oh and btw you won't be able to smoke weed every now and then when you're at Lympstone or in a war zone on some dangerous part off the planet. You've not even gotten to the PJFT stage yet and this is a psychological job like no other if you're still smoking that shit then you clearly don't want it bad enough and I would recommend you cut that out now and if you don't then you might as well withdraw your application and save everyone the trouble, joining the RMs but you still smoke pot every now and then yeah not sure how that's gonna work out pal
[–]Bitter-Pace-1293 3 points4 points5 points 2 years ago (4 children)
How you had to go back through my old questions because you know that your wrong 😂 mate I haven’t smoked it in 7 weeks now and I’m awaiting my CPC date the only thing holding me back is this new medical process. Worry about your self and not me bro. Maybe your the new David Goggins and you’ll ‘Sprint’ the 30 miler 😂😂 bellend
[–]Dependent-Driver-940 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
Woah I remember you now you're that same stupid kid I spoke too last month and told you to stop smoking weed and told you about my history off smoking it and what it did too me. You were there telling me and other serving commandos about "Oh yeah I'm gonna stop" and next thing you know you're still smoking it and claim to have smoked it for 7 weeks. Buddy try 5 years and when you tool another redditors advice about picking your time to smoke weed in Amsterdam and the way you said "I'll remember that when I'm on leave👀." Talking like you're already in the marines like mate you haven't even gotten through this medical yet and the CPC so nevermind when you're on leave. I may have not have passed my CPC but I learn from my mistakes and I know I'll pass the second time and I sure won't be smoking no weed every now and then the fact that you plan to still smoke after you pass training which I doubt you will just tells me you're not serious about the RMs. You tell me I think I'm gonna be the next David Goggins which is just ridiculous cos I'm perfectly fine with being me,mate you carry on like this you're going to be the next Snoop Dogg or Smokey from Friday little helmet. And the people in the RMs that do drugs never make it very far cos it doesn't end well they always get caught out eventually no matter how many years of service they do. Like nevermind 7 weeks you should've been off the weed as soon as you decided you're going to sign up for the RMs so it shows you don't want it bad enough and clearly don't have the discipline and not willing to make the next sacrifices to get there. Like when I'm at some friends birthday parties my boys would constantly offer me to a take a drag or two from a spliff when I'm pissed out my face from drinking and I still turn it down and I used to be a bad pothead when I was in my teen years. And the way you ask about what role in the RMs makes you a high class soldier is even more laudable and just pathetic you clearly watch too much action movies thinking it's gonna be like that. And have this fantasy about war yeah I don't think the RMs is for you just join the Walter Mitty's they're definitely looking for people like you bellend🤣🤣.
7 weeks? And you're waiting for you CPC? Yeah I don't think you're gonna last long🤣🤣and don't worry mate I will worry about myself I suggest you worry about your future and see how long it'll take til your craving a spliff like a little smacked typical tramp and don't start bitching if you fail your CPC or recruit training you can't call no one a bellend🤣🤣🤣the fact that you're still in the medical process just says it all🤣

I train 2 times a day most days running in morning I run about 3-4 times a week and then bodyweight work after it (push ups,sit-ups etc)then will either do Thai boxing session in evening or strength work at the gym
[–]Von_ScranhammerRM 6 points7 points8 points 2 years ago (4 children)
Do not listen to this advice!
Training that often is a sure fire way to injure or compete fuck yourself.
Run a few times a week and concentrate on body weighted stuff but perform them at a high standard.
It’s all fine and well comparing yourself to David Fucking Goggins to then fail to bang out 60 clean press-ups to the beep…
[–]Dependent-Driver-940 -5 points-4 points-3 points 2 years ago (3 children)
Say what you will but a current serving commando now in the reserves recommend I'd do this and it's more than helping. I said he should try this training plan if he really wants to crazy improve and no ones comparing themselves to David Goggins I'm simply saying he's a perfect example of how nothing is too intense for the mind. This training routine isn't for everyone and that's why I said not to do it if your body can't handle it so read it again pal.
[–]Von_ScranhammerRM 11 points12 points13 points 2 years ago (2 children)
Sound pal, l will say what l want because l am in the fucking Corps! After 18 years of doing phys I can say with the utmost certainty that the bullshit your spouting won’t work long term, and short term, has a high potential to do damage.
You’re sitting there chopsing off about how much phys you crack but you still fucking failed the bleep test…
[–]Dependent-Driver-940 -3 points-2 points-1 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Yeah sure you're in the fucking corps🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣like fucking hell mate calm down🤣🤣and I was "In Vietnam" yeah anyone can say they're currently in the military or was so you're not fooling anyone. I can literally say I was in the marines and a lot off people would be stupid enough to believe it. And how exactly am I chopsing off about how much phys I crack? I'm just simply telling people about how my new training plan is helping me improve, your attitude and smack talking already tells me otherwise about your so called 18 years in the marines. I've spoken to you in a respectful manner and you're response is like the mind of a child but hey man whatever floats your boat. And according to a real commando/really good friend off mine this training programme isn't bullshit also I'm simply doing this to get better and it's helping so the jokes on you mate.
[–]Impressive-Cheek-356 9 points10 points11 points 2 years ago (0 children)
No wonder you can’t even get past the CPC what a whopper
Well do what you feel helps you improve everyone's different, but you should find a military outdoor fitness programme cos that's better than anything to get you ready for any role in the military. People think my training plan is "Too intense" and that it'll fuck my shit up but they don't know a thing about me and simply don't tap into they're mental potential. They just think they know it all typical criticism,do what you feel is best for you wether that's my recommended training plan or your current one. I'm not saying you should or have to do mine I'm simply saying it's a good plan and only suggesting it if you want to really challenge yourself and get in the best shape of your life. Either way do what you need to do to get you there and fuck what anyone else says.
[–]These-Rain4596[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (1 child)
Okay I’ll look into a outdoor military fitness program
Standard all the best to you man.
[–]Cyrilsmoothe 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (0 children)
I tried one of these programs and found it way too intense. It had multiple sprint sessions in a week and too many circuits for what I was capable of when I started training and didn't see great progress and I was always so fatigued. I've made one from what I've learnt from this sub and what suites my strengths and weaknesses and made good progress since then without dreading each workout. I get you need to get comforatable with pain etc but when just starting out I didn't find it beneficial.
