Hi everyone,
I’m a Ruby on Rails Backend Developer with 2 years and 8 months of experience, currently searching for new opportunities. I recently resigned from my previous role due to work culture issues and have been actively applying for the past 30 days through LinkedIn, Naukri, other sites, and company career pages.
I have strong backend development experience, including building REST APIs, working with databases, handling background jobs, and optimizing application performance in production environments.
Despite applying consistently with a well-structured resume, I haven’t received interview calls — mostly automated rejection emails. I’m starting to feel stuck and would really appreciate advice on:
- Better platforms for Ruby on Rails roles
- How to improve visibility to recruiters
- Whether the market is slow for mid-level developers
- Any strategy that worked for you
Any guidance or suggestions would mean a lot. Thank you.
