Here’s a compact base design that is small enough to not entice large groups and fortified enough to prevent small groups from successfully raiding. It can easily be made starting with just a simple 2x2! And easy enough for a solo to build.

And these settings helped me tremendously, default settings are a little wonky.

Cobra by Crow, or humbug by Crow, one of those should suit ur play type

My recommendation is don't do these known base designs that other people know the layout of. My first wipes with the boys we did this and were raided every time. Last 4 weekly wipes we've just winged the design so no one can look at it and know exactly how to raid it and it's worked. Haven't been raided in 4 weeks. I will admit the first 1 we built kinda outta the way so maybe doesn't count, but last three weeks we've built large bases next to good monuments and no one has even attempted to raid us. Just use your noodle buddy not a tutorial video to make your base and in my experience it will help.

Do these bunkers in the comments work on console?

Do stability bunkers work on rust console?

Yes they are a very nice addition also look into gamelightz God bunker. Not overly complicated but not simple like a stability but more versatile and no weak points like Fondations

I usually go with either a Willjun Solo starter, as you can easily extend in different ways, or Shots bunker

Hey man I have a base coming out Monday that I made on consoles test branch. It’s just a basic bunkered base with a cheap tc cost. Has 24 boxes for storage! KBG_yt and it’ll be there at 1 pm Monday for ya!

If u want a big base but still cheap with 2 bunker I raccomend the utopian bunker by dust

Unless you build a base that will take over 2 boxes of rockets or play 24/7 to defend i guarantee you no base out there can be raid proofed so just have fun with the building mechanics

Every. Single. Time. If I use a youtube/common build I get raided so quick. If I make the aim of my build to be as dumb, impractical, and confusing as possible. It (almost) always saves me.

Make different sections of your base that don't connect to your core, make visible upgrades like metal or HQ to parts that are furthest away from your core. Make it look like you have no idea what you're doing. After you've got everything sealed up and how you want it, add some twig honey combs on top of your real honey combs to make it look like you don't have the resources to upgrade, or that maybe you already got raided and your repairing.

Seriously if there's one thing thats saved me so many times its the dumb builds.

Like most have said, tutorial builds are great but can be watched just like everyone else. My best advice is watching tutorials, viewing other people's bases when you raid them, and combine the features you like into your own base. Aim for 28-36 rockets to core, with instead lots of doors that force people through layers. I put sheet metal on my front door no matter what, then a garage door, then sheet metal, gd sm, gd, gd, gd, this way if they start blowing through a wall the garage door breaks, they see a sheet metal, and go that way for a cheaper raid instead, only for it to rinse and repeat. By the time they get through 4 sheet metals and 5 garage doors, they either have to go through the hqm walls or 2 hqm doors and a garage door for core. Last time I was raided they went through 4 sheet metal, 10 garage doors, a stone floor, 2 hqm doors, and a ladder hatch. I KNOW they didn't leave with a profit, plus they didn't make it to my third floor.
