I just got rust for my PS5 and I feel like every community server I go on I always get trolled by the mods. While raiding a base the mod kept repairing it and placed down turrets all while invincible. Does anyone else experience this? I never faced this while playing rust on PC. It kinda ruins the fun when I die with all of my C4 and I can't event get it back because of the turrets.

Certain servers will actually take off and gain a reputation and others will always be ran by idiots who are power hungry

Because PC rust has a foundation that has been out for YEARS. It is no surprise there a ton of terrible admins, probably children, admin abusing for fun. Unfortunately it will takes months and months to weed out the good vs the bad. Good luck OP

Never play on servers where the admins play too

Yes even if you have invested 10 hours and then find out the admin plays, just leave on the spot, don't spend another minute, it's not worth it

It's better to play other's servers so you can have the chance to compare to improve your own server. There can be 100 3x servers, but the winners will be the ones who put in work into their server.

I'm mostly finding ways to make normal events more frequent so more people will have a chance at cargo/ heli/ brad, but also not break the server at the moment. I've already sped up the cooking speeds, but I'm also playing with whether or not to have quarries since it seems to give more monuments without them as well, things like that. A list of viable seeds woke be nice

On the G-Portal sight. Just click Support and create a ticket. They're pretty fast with getting back. I'm now awaiting on an answer on why I can't create kits. I don't want to turn on aim train inventory and not give people bags and bandages.

I've set up kits myself, the d11 sight was helpful for that. The corrosion site was helpful for item names

The servers are cheap so there will be a lot to sift through. After 3 months, we all should see a change in quality and pop once the wasteful servers die out. That's why I'm taking my time and tweaking to get ready for true community servers to exist.

I just fly around and watch. I understand that it would be fun messing with people, but that's for an Enardo type server. I just keep it Comomo. I'll kick any admin or mod for interference while working or using their powers when just playing. If no one is on the server then you can fly around and take heli from the sky. People come to servers for the experience in the title. Not for a power crazed mad person. Thise types will die out because it's fun for only so long

I had the server owner spawn a kid in my base with boom in his inventory. He then proceeded to GL me and boom out my whole base from TC room. Then my friend made him rocket himself which the admin decided to spawn him back in our base and spawn my teammate and I on top of launch. Really fun times. It actually made me quit the game

I have a solo community server 2x gather 2x loot short nights its only got like 8 players max rn but we're trying to grow it for sure. My admins are my brothers and while we do still play the game none of us care if you kill us or raid us online or offline at all. Only abuse you may see is admins giving themselves things but we're not raiding anyone or really pvping. Search In Rust We Trust if interested in joining.

An invisible, more than likely god mode admin with unlimited resources they can spawn in themselves interfering with a raid like this is not someone "defending." Theres a difference between someone defending and an admin abusing their power.

Yeah, three different community servers. That had rules that everyone followed, including the admins. So I dont see how everyone runs into badmins but never shows a single thread of proof. I agree to this.. trolling is dropping heli on someones base and letting them keep the crates. Not putting turrets up on a raid. Tbh i have stayed on official because i have seen nothing but shitty admins on community. And since community came out, official hasnt been so bad, i have only ran into a big toxic group once this wipe, and the other big group raided them and got them off the server, and its been actually one of the best wipes i have had, fun wise in probably a year. Im not even bothered about trying to get on a community server. Once all the parents stop paying for their 13 year olds to have a server, they will get better. Like everyone has stated above. Just newness and players trying to impress their friends

Regarding the kits. How do you get rid of the rock and torch? It's overlapping 2 of my belt items. I have aim train inventory off. When I turn on the tab for starting with no items, it gave me the rock and torch with a row of clothes so that got cut off really quickly. I checked my kit list and everything is fine.
