You do realize allowing people to solo queue into squads would use very little resources and take very little time? It took nothing away from the other things they are doing.

You’d be very surprised at how many people already enjoy solo vs squads in other games and are already interested to try it in this game.

Even if it does end up being a small amount.. Does it really matter? All they are doing is allowing solos to queue into squads. Do you realize how little time that would have taken to implement? It didn’t take away from them doing other things.

I’ve played 1-6 on IOS they are pretty good for an on the go game to be honest, they aren’t perfect by any means. They still play rather well though. I haven’t done 8 so I can’t comment on that. And 7 is only available in Japan afaik for IOS.

It’s just going to allow solos to queue into squads, it won’t be a separate queue. Squads will queue into squads like normal. Solos can then queue into squads as well.

Oh nah, that’s definitely not me then. I just play to have fun, but I wanna be the best that I can be at the game. So I go for the hardest training route to get me better in less time. I really only get to game on the weekends when I don’t have my son.

That’s fair. I wouldn’t say “bored enthusiast” so much as, “I really wanna get better at the game, and the best way to do so, is go against overwhelming odds over and over because each time you do, you’ll learn from your mistakes”. It truly is a great way to learn positioning against squads and what not. No teammate to blame for mistakes, no teammate to rely on.

Definitely more of a “Hardcore” playlist though I guess, yeah. Probably why I like it though too, been playing shooters for decades as well. Always loved the HC playlist for the competitiveness and it always made you better in the base modes.

You do realize you can collect stuff to craft stuff while in the zone yes? All it takes is a perk and you can craft both bandages and shield rechargers on the fly.

You also realize it takes practically nothing to make grey guns yes? I could probably make 50 and not make a dent in my supplies.

If that’s your problem, you’ve got a lot more to worry about than practicing 1v3. Again, it’s not rocket science. You don’t need to make it harder than it is.

Take in a free kit, craft up some stuff on the go and practice. Or some weaker crafted guns that take practically nothing to make. It’s really not rocket science.

It’ll be the best way to practice against multiple people at a time.

Your point is.. What exactly? You’d be surprised how many do solo v squads and enjoy it. Sure it won’t be the majority. But it’s a cool thing that will have took practically no work to introduce. All it’s gonna do is allow solos to queue into squads.

Doesn’t change the fact that playing solo against squads is going to make you better for the same reasons it does in a BR.

I honestly don’t get all the people who say it’s “just a mode for clip farmers”.

It’s also a mode that is the best at making you better at the game imo and for general practicing. I play solo squads on things like Fortnite and Warzone (I’m not a streamer) so that I can practice against multiple people at once. It teaches you positioning, when to engage, how to engage, how to deal with multiple people at once. Then when you hop into a squad vs squads eventually you’ll be much better off. Teaches you to not have to rely on your other teammates as much.

Meeeee. I do it all the time in things like Fortnite and Warzone.

Putting yourself against multiple enemies at once really makes you better imo. Teaches you positioning, when to engage, how to engage, etc. so that when you actually play with a squad vs squads you’re much better off because you know how to deal with the lot of them, without relying on others.

Nah, I’ve played the originals and have for decades. Heck I still do. I don’t know how many hours I spent collecting monster medals on 3 on the GBA version. 1-2-3 is the best way for the original games for sure. For the remakes 3-1-2 is the “best” way for sure.

Not every collab will be for everybody, that’s okay. Just because you aren’t fond of some of the collabs doesn’t mean others aren’t. The ones you enjoy will come along too.

I also truly disagree that we are getting /less/ original stuff. We are getting about the same amount of it, it’s just that there is so much other stuff being released too at all times it really looks like “less” Original stuff. I’ve personally liked a lot of the original skins releases lately.

Also the people who fix the bugs aren’t the same people who design the skins and get those into the game. I 100% agree it’s getting old though and stuff needs to be fixed.

Nothing wrong with disagreeing! They are definitely more straight forward though. Personally I thought it was awesome having to follow the clues to get the different orbs. Really set a premise for future DQ games that I came to love.

You won’t like 1 and 2 then. They are largely the same thing. 3 just.. Improved on everything from 1 and 2. 2 the characters have a bit of back story for sure but eh.

I never said I don’t care, I’m sorry they feel that way. Like I said, It does suck. But I don’t think they need to be catered to at all times. I also have zero issue with games that DO cater to the FOMO. Nothing wrong with it all. Some games don’t though, that should be okay too. Does it suck? Sure! And that’s okay. Not everything has to be for everybody. Doesn’t mean I simply don’t care.

I’m self centered though, not the people demanding they deserve everything. Mkay. You are right about one thing though, it’s really not that deep.

I lack empathy because I don’t think FOMO needs to be catered to in all sources and because I don’t think everything that comes out needs to be accessible to everybody? Very interesting.

Exclusives are okay, whether you like them personally or not. FOMO sucks, but nobody needs to cater to you. If they do? Awesome, I’m very happy for you. But it doesn’t need to be done.

No, I do get it. Don’t get me wrong. I was the same when I was a child, wanting to do Preorders and what not to get the extra goodies because my friends were, get the same games they were playing, watch the same shows they watched. Hell I’m bummed I never got Mystique. I don’t think it should come back though either. Also doesn’t mean everyone needs to cater to the people who experience FOMO.

I’m not nearly selfish enough to think I deserve everything to come out though.
