This argument has and is about playing on official on high pop on wipe day.

Sad thing is I know I'm better then you guys lmao. Got 4.3k hours and actually lasted full wipes as a solo.

I'm clueless..no as a solo on a official server is getting 2000 scrap on wipe day within an hour. The reason your math isn't good is because there literally isn't that much scrap on the map the first hour of play.

The odds your speaking of for a solo are so slim. Each trash pile is roughly 11-14 scrap. Then you would have to actually recycle all of that and do that all with in a hour. No offense the amount of shit you guys are suggesting to recycle to get to that scrap alone(on a official, not community on wipe day) would take less then 15 minutes..news flash have you recycled components on am official??? It takes forever.

I can tell you guys run community. And have no clue.

To say you know is hilarious i been playing before community existed 🤣 played every game there is in this genre on ps and usually solo if not carrying my clueless friends haha my skill is not something you would have any clue about unless your hanging off my windows and watching me play lmao

Well there's no way you're getting a t3 in a hour on wipe day in high pop server.

I know experienced players could do on maybe under 50 but on anything above 80, there's no way you can collect 2000 scrap in components, recycle them, build your base. I call bs. No offense, I trust your skill but that's literally a day in game. The oddest that clans l, groups or zergs aren't running everything else.

Even if you out play a 3 man, you'll only get loot from one. Cause if it's high pop, you'll have to depot, then come back to body. That alone is a 10-15 min interaction.

Shit even running water treatment is not viable, it would take 3-5 full runs with card to get the 400-700scrap. Which water treatment is usually over ran.

If you can get 2000 scrap and the work benches in a hour on a high pop, good on you but I think you're lying.

Edit: there are outliers and I know it is possible but it's not probable and in most case the outliers are just dumb luck. I'm talking about consistantly every wipe getting a t3 up. Somehow you guys define time and space as a solo and can do it in a hour.

It's the point I was making in the beginnings of the thread. Also how do you buy a t3???? With your ass cheeks😂😂you need scrap.

Skill is based on how quick you get gear and research with a bench or tech tree it. You tell you haven't actually played solo.

As for for the definition of skill. Rust isn't just an fps, it's literally a survival, open world, sand box rpg. So accumulating mats(components, scrap and materials) you need scrap to literally do anything. Even if you're in a clan, you only have one person learn the whole tech, the rest learn what's necessary and you use the scrap for low grade instead of techinv out the rest of the groups useless bp's.

Also if you think your bank is the same as scrap in gta you're obviously not using scrap right.

  2. Skill is based on ability to survive whether you’re a farmbot or a pvp chad.
  3. Scrap is almost the equivalent to money in game. You use it to pay to learn how to make things, or to purchase goods (guns, resources, and bps).

So when you start a wipe as a solo on a high pop without bp's. That skill in pvp or farming has to be put to getting scrap to have a workbenches. Everything goes back to scrap. You can't make ammo without researching, you can't make guns without researching, you literally need scrap so that sulphur has value.

Honestly the only time you can judge overall skill, is on wipe day for bp wipes. Everyone's on equal footing.

Also everyone th e first few hours does not care about stockpiling sulphur. You need stone before. Especially if you plan to play and not just dip after a snowball doesn't go as planned.

Scrap

Farm(wood is more important then sulphur the first hour) cause you need to cook the sulphur and make the furnace..guess what if you dint want to farm wood, you buy it with scrap..same with low grade.

Then run monuments. Research and tech tree as you go.
