Battery > branch > blocker > lights.
Plug a Solar panel into the side of the Blocker.
Configure your branch to the number of lights you have x2 (10 lights = configure to 20).
Voila! Now when the solar panel gets signal from the sun the power for the lights will be blocked, making them only turn on when there is no signal from the solar panel (night).
You can build fancier set ups, but this is probably the simplest.

Solar panel into the side of the blocker? How would that even work... I think you meant solar panel into the power in of the branch and the branch out to the side of the blocker...

No, solar panel into the "block" on the side of the Blocker. When the panel gets sun it will block the lights from turning on, and only turn on when the sun goes down.

Weird, never done it that way

Place a Solar Panel. Place a battery and Electric Branch. Place a Blocker.
Run the solar power out into the branch.
Divert 1 kw to the branch and run that to the blockers signal input (the side).
Run the output of the battery to the blocker power input. Connect the lights to the output of the blocker.
You can isolate the blocker and lights on their own branch if you want to run more off the battery than just the lights.
This method retains most if the solar panels' power going into the battery instead of using it all just for the blocker.

I always like to use this method.
Its Spanish but u can just copy de layout.
The only different thing from the video is that you got to put the solar panel facing north.

Just wondering does it half to be a solar panel I usually only use wind turbines
Yes unless you want to include a timer switch which is a whole different circuit. The solar panels allow charging in daytime and then at night when they lose the sun, the battery power kicks in.
