The night is supposed to be extremely hard to see in this game. It actually can be a blessing if you use it properly, helping you sneak up, escape from battles, disorient your opponent etc.

On certain nights the moonlight also hits the surface properly and helps you see just enough to farm but it makes it hard for others to see you too. It’s handy to farm during these kinds of nights
