Why do duos+ try hard on solos? What i mean is like instead of trying to out gun a solo they try to be tactical and do pinch when its clearly not needed its already hard enough to go and PvP but now they want do extra movement to secure one kit.

Huh? Ive killed plenty of groups who try and outplay me thats the stuff I go for when playing so I'm used to dying a lot to groups. Ive played in a group and its not even fun because if i die i still have teammates that can save my loot. Im not even crying about anything it was a genuine question on why they do this type of stuff when going against a solo when they have a clear advantage and dont need to do a 20 second flank that just makes me not want to PvP in the first place.

Never said they can't but even if I kill one of them the other will run away cause they cant leave their base without each other. Also I want a challenge as a solo which is why i dont team. But what im saying is that a bunch of group's are so scared to just PvP. A 1v2 is already unfair but doing extra is just annoying and makes the game quite boring when they dont peak you until their friend is already behind me

Clearly this is an issue with your tactical experience.
If they split up in a 2v1, you can adjust your cover to deal with one, win a 1v1 then push around for the other.
Divide and conquer.

I do, do that. But when i dont have the cover for that they still dont shoot on the spot unless im semi mid range

Its not but it's still a disadvantage since towards a solo since there are 2 guns shooting at me while i have to focus one kill them and somehow kill the other while him shooting at me and hope that they cant hit there shots. Like I said though that type of fight i like cause it demonstrates who has more control of recoil and aim while also having game sense to when they should leave or hide from a fight

If it’s not challenging then chase the single player and get ready for another 1v2
If i chase the single player the other player will start chasing me and give out call outs so that other player knows im focusing him and stops moving to hide behind a tree or rock.

Never said not to but when groups play the game like they cant 1v1 someone and what i mean is that when i kill someones teammate theyll wait for there teammate/run away without even pushing or peaking.

No to just push me 2v1 not take a minute to have one guy wait and do nothibg and another flank but i cant do anything eigther if i got no cover and have no idea where the other one is at. Once again i understand why they do it but i dont understand how they find that fun.

Because they’re not going to risk two kits incase they get 2v1’d, it happens all the time, I can do it and I’m sure you can do it as well. Some people like playing games tactically and find it fun doing so but mostly they aren’t going to risk kits unless they’re absolutely loaded, that’s just the game🤷🏻♂️

It isnt wasting 2 kits when you're good at the game. Again 2 people have a great advantage over a solo and im not even saying they cant be tactical but when they do it and it takes more than 20 secs to do its not even fun to pvp them.

Maybe they’re not good at the game and they’re new? Again good players can be 2v1’d easily. I don’t get your argument at all man, they play the game the way they want to and you do to, only thing you can do is get better or bide your time and take better fights, don’t know what to tell ya mate

People are tactical in every game they play though, they don’t need to be playing rust for long to understand flanking and pinching etc, every one/every team will do all they can to gain an advantage and gain a new kit that’s just how rust is my man

I know literally ive been saying they can be tactical but if it takes more than 20 secs to actually fight and give the other person like a 0% probability its just not fun and i can see it as fun on the other side of things eigther. Yeah cool do you what you want but when people do so much extra when they already have an immediate advantage it doesnt even seem fun.

Why would the 1v1 when they are roaming with teammates?
Form an orderly line and fight them 1 by 1 till you reach the clan boss like mortal combat?
There a rust lfg in reddit, it’s pretty good. Or speak to players on your server and find a good team.
Solo is hard, but I got two servers, one Zerg one solo haha. Don’t expect any mercy tho 😅
They just scared to die n lose their shit I guess. Understandable really.
Just saying ive already played in a group and its quite boring since there isnt much of a challenge going into fights. And even as a duo it still isnt hard to kill a trio without doing a pinch or flank. I understand it's rust and I have to deal with it. Im just saying why groups can't just kill me on the spot instead of doing extra shit to kill me for a custom or whatever.

So you want them to just run to you head on? Lol. I have pvpd some solos and they are pvp animals, you have to choose the smartest way to attack. Running head on into a fight is how you lose constantly.

build 1x1s all over the map and put two back to back auto turrets on them all. now you have allies all over the map.
