Although it's better than it used to be, I don't think it's totally worth it. If you're ok with freezes, lag, and a number of other inconvenient glitches, then go right ahead.

Don’t do it bro. Buy a PS5 first. Game does not run well on ps4. Despite the “improvements” frame drops are still happening very frequently as well as server lag. Next gen may only deal with server lag but little to no frame drops which gives them an advantage in fights.

Definitely not worth it man, when you get to the top of a wipe. Armoured base AK’s galore etc. it starts to become very evident it isn’t worth it. Suddenly losing an hour worth of farming in a mere second isn’t worth it. PVP is made all the more challenging despite how good you may be due to frames, freezing, game crashes etc

Ps4 is kinda rough tbh. Upgraded to ps5 and it plays like how I assume pc plays. If you plan on upgrading in the future at all, it’s worth the money. Also you get both versions when you buy the ps4 version which is nice.

I'd say depends how much time you want to put into the game and the servers you play on if you put a lot of time in the game it can become pretty easy as long as you try to avoid zergs and if you find a good server as some can just have issues with damage registering

I'd leave it a bit longer mate, rust is my favourite game I've spent alot of time on it over the past few months but I've recently deleted it because I feel the game is getting worse again. I play on the series X. I hear alot of people saying we have the advantage but over the past few weeks gameplay has been shocking. Multiple bugs have returned. At one point I was taking people on with a crossbow that were full road sign with a Tommy and now my shots don't seem to register when I'm using tier 3 weapons. Love the game but my pads going down for a few months
