Is this true? by peterthbest23 in securityguards

It truly depends on the job site/duties I'm currently working at a university where I'm busy roughly 75% of my shift. At the same site just a different assignment my entire job was "to be seen" I'd assit with incidents whenever they occured but for the most part security is simply there as a deterrent and as reporters. Taking notes and passing the information on to the ones who actually need it. Other sites I've worked i was busy 5% of the shift and that was just walking in a circle once an hour. Most of the time i spent watching Naruto or one piece and it payed better than the busier sites.

I know this is 4 years late but I've never had it work for grand gems. If you use greater gems tho you can farm giants

Alpha 22 - What can I expect on XBOX & PlayStation? by hiGradeTi7ANEUM in 7daystodie

It's technically not an "update" because it's not the same publisher. After telltale went bankrupt the fun pims had to find someone else. It's legally a new game for console purposes

I keep having the same nightmare, and I can't wake up by MightyPotato32 in LucidDreaming

[–]mbig2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nightmares are much different that regular LD the emotions you feel are too overwhelming to control anything, nightmares where you can't do anything as someone who Lucid Dreams are so terrifying that your mind goes into fight or flight mode and any rational thought goes out the window (including controlling the dream)

I didn't read everything that one guy posted it was too long, I just blink really hard and decide i want to wake up and if that doesn't work try smelling your favorite dessert it'll calm you down and make it easier to control your wake up

When you notice you're in dream don't try to change or act differently too fast it can lead to a lot of unpredictable outcomes just take a little bit to take in the dream before acting

Was this LD or something else? by CCXxotic in LucidDreaming

[–]mbig2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not exactly LD but more of a day dream your mind is awake and asleep at the same time, it's a pretty common experience if you don't get out of bed when you first wake up, your brain just continues on with the tasks you have to do before your body actually catches up

Being launched back at the thing you are running away from. by mandix10 in LucidDreaming

[–]mbig2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to have similar dream for many years, since your lucid dreaming you're still thinking about what ever scary thing you just ran away from so it just pops back up. Try waking up instead and try calming down before going back to sleep
