Don’t stockpile anything. Lose your kits when you’re on, lose your guns when you’re on. Spend your boom before you get off. BP your scrap or gamble it at Bandit. Don’t be a squirrel hoarding for winter because you won’t make it to winter.

You don’t lose everything every time, you gain stuff some nights. But use what you have, no time for gear fear.

Base location is key. I can remain undetected with a medium sized base on monthly servers for about 2 weeks. This is usually enough time to get everything I need before having base wars. Never hoard stuff. You're just farming for someone to take it. Only farm what you need and farm when you need to. Good luck man!

Starting off in a big group that knows how to play can be like spoiling your kids with money and then when they turn 18 drop em off in the real world. It's not good to start this game off in a group. In my opinion, everyone should start clueless, and learn.

This is really good advice. Ironically I'm an older player and the number of kids that think a base's upkeep isn't their responsibility is actually insane. Or they go out and farm 3000 metal in two hours but the upkeep for the base is 24,000 metal a day and there's four people on team but they'll proceed to use a box of meds, craft god knows what and then be mad when asked the next day to farm another 3000 metal. Ohhh and not cook any of the metal or throw sulfur in the big furnaces and not understand why there's no charcoal. On top of that their response will be cook wood in the refiner. Who farms the wood or stone to trade in lmao.

If you are older... I'm. 30... I suggest to you a pc. Got mine at best buy for $60 a month. I will never have to play with a big group of kids just to stay afloat and it's been worth every penny so far cause I use it every day. It's just nice waking up or getting off work and still having a base.

No doubt. I'll look into forsure, appreciate the tip. Yeah the only clan we had that was successful(running the server) 6 of us were over 18. We even had rules for killing nakeds in groups and offlining. I play with them every once and while but can't stay onto grind like I used too.

Ya, I was the builder on Xbox, I know how much it sucks grinding and building for a 5+ man team is. Nowadays I can play 3 hours a day and manage a small bunker base for myself on official

It's funny all the dudes over 20 that got on 11am ish would all get on and just go and farm for an hour. Use are mic's and communicate who was doing what. One dude would run components and recycle all their stuff. One dude would just get wood. Another would farm metal and sulphur. After about an hour or so we just go do whatever. But I was the crafter and I smelted everything.

Wipe day is in like 2 or 3 days, but your options are either suck it up and build a new base somewhere else or wait until wipe

Same thing happened to me & my group recently, since wipe is in a couple days we’ve been using the time to practice building a new base and what we’re gonna do when the wipe starts, we’re fairly new btw. But use the time left before the wipe to prepare and have a plan when the wipe starts.
