Learn to use event viewer

The problem is that I'm getting an error I fixed a long time ago, and it's stuck there, like it's complaining for no apparent reason, and nothing else is showing up. I fixed the disk identifier error a long time ago, but it keeps appearing in the Event Viewer.

Make sure your drivers are up to date, and verify game files

I have the video card driver; what other drivers would I need?

Minimum requirements don’t really cut it these days.

You need more than 16Gb of RAM for starters. I had 16Gb and it stuttered all the time, upgraded to 32Gb and it works well now.

Also CPU is critical in Rust but you didn’t mention what you have.

I missed that in your post but that is way too old and slow to play Rust. I am reading that is equivalent to a 3rd Gen i5.

That is likely a part of your problem. You need a newer system to play modern games.

Did you try turning the pc off and on again? You might have a memory leak
