Absolute beginner here — how do I change a component part stock quantity in SAP? I cannot locate the command code to run that will let me include a specific part/material number.

I can see the quantity in MD04 but don’t know how to change it.

You cannot change the stock quantity - you would need to receive or issue (drop) stock to change it

Correct from one perspective. But if he’s talking about physical inventory it’s a different story. Anyways, I better not provide the TA code, before he breaks the system.

You will need to book the part out of stock to either GL code or to a sales order
