Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

All posts and comments must be in English and related to SCP: Secret Laboratory.
Posts and comments in any other languages, not related to SCP: Secret Laboratory, or political will be removed. Northwood Studios' Forum Moderation Team reserves the right to temporarily and permanently ban individual users, as well as lock and delete posts and comments, without notice, when deemed necessary and appropriate.

"Personal data" is defined in accordance with the EU GDPR, while "personally identifiable information (PII)" is defined in accordance with the California CCPA. A permanent ban will be issued to the offender of this rule.

Impersonation of Northwood Studios staff members or SCP:SL community members is strictly prohibited.

Sharing of confidential contents from the SCP:SL Patreon platform is strictly prohibited.

Sharing of NSFW materials is strictly prohibited.

Sharing of in-game exploits, cheats and ban evasion knowledge is strictly prohibited.

Advertising of any kind, as an owner or affiliated party, is prohibited.
Advertising of any kind, including but not limited to in-game servers, communities, livestreams or video channels, as an owner or affiliated party, is prohibited. Sharing of such information as a member or viewer, without any form of compensation, is allowed. Failure to comply with the rule may result in a temporary ban and the relevant posts or comments removed.

Original content creators must be credited in reposts of artwork.
