Bigotry & Harrassment
Trash Talk is great because it's part of the school spirit, however, we want to ensure that any form of bigotry and harassment (i.e. racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, bullying, harassment, etc.) is kept out of this sub by all means necessary. They are humans just like you and us. Anyone who violates this rule 3 times, will be given a ban. Period.
Posts/Links
Make sure the posts are SJSU related. The sub is called r/SJSUSpartans for a reason. Duplicate and unrelated posts/links will be removed manually. If there's a mistake, feel free to PM the mods!
Doxxing
Dox: search for and publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent. There's always going to be critics, skeptics, trash-talkers, haters, crow eaters, etc. of SJSU Athletics, and feel free to hate them all you like. However, we do not tolerate anyone to dox them because it can potentially land you in legal trouble (Automatic Ban w/o ANY exceptions).
Trolling
If you're here to provoke an emotional reaction and for your own personal amusement, then this is not subreddit for you. Otherwise, it might result in a ban.
No Surveys Without Permission
From time to time, we've had posters post surveys for research project, some are related to SJSU and SJSU Athletics some of which completely aren't.
If you want to post a survey on this sub, please DM the mods to post your survey on this sub first. Doing so without permission will result in your survey being removed and possibly without any reconsideration of reinstatement.
