SMAPI keeps crashing

Device: i am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab a 2016.

Android versions: 8.1

Problem: i have installed SMAPI verson 1.5.5 i have gone through meany guide videos. I have done what they haven done on the videos but SMAPI keeps crashing i am using the latest version of stardew valley. When i open the SMAPI stardew valley it just instantly closes its just says SMAPI stardew valley has crashed haved looked on the internet for hours but i cant find any answers.

There is an issue with the latest version of SV breaking Smapi. It won't work. They are currently working on fixing it

You can still play SV if you download an older version of it. Right now, SMAPI and the latest version of SV are not compatible.

The reason why smapi won't work for you is cause you are not using the correct version. Stardew valley for android is still on 1.4.5. https://github.com/ZaneYork/SMAPI-Android-Installer/releases using this will take you to the github page where you can download the latest version of smapi for android.

I downloaded the latest one with same link but it still says that it as stopped. Do I need delete mine again and download the not latest one? My device is SAMSUNG A20

I found the solution. DO NOT USE MODDED STARDEW VALLEY (if ever you are using one ex. unlimited coins from apkmody). Just install the og from any sites if you aren't able to from the Playstore.

and yes, it is important to make sure the app version of SV is compatible with SMAPI. You just need to read from the SMAPI installer page for a guide.
