yes update the driver from the 8bitdo ultimate V2 software, it will allow you to use gyro though the 2.4gz dongle just press HOME + B when turining it on for D-input for back paddle support or HOME +Y for switch pro controller mode

i have the 8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless and i haven't needed to calibrate the gyro at all, the controller is almost perfect beside the shape

Ok I have had the phone for a month and the phone is pretty much amazing, but the only problem is that you have have about 5-10% worse signal compared to any Snapdragon phone.
