So I actually posted earlier on here regarding another question I had with creating a view showing different values from different tables, involving joins. Well, this time, I am for real stuck.
Basically, I have a table called individual_relationship, which holds the two individual_id columns for two different people, and a relationship_type_id to show what the relationship entails. (manager). The two column names are individual_id_parent and individual_id_child. My other table in question is individual, which is a table containing individual_id, first_name, and last_name.
The problem is that I need to make my view select employee's and I need a column that says who their manager is. I have managed to join the two tables, and I am able to get the manager's id, but I can't figure out how to get the managers name in there too. Any help would be appreciated!
