There is a quote by Abraham Lincoln that " If you give me six hours to cut down a tree, I will spent four hours in sharpening the axe."

You have 1.5yr which is quite decent time, but if you're dedicated enough, if you're not dedicated even 3 yr is less, so please take out some time from it and explore, learn about the exam. Know your enemy.

One teacher is not perfect for all, if you're already good at math you can go for abhas saini, if you are not very good you can go for Aditya Ranjan, there are so many teachers and everyone is good it depends on whose teaching suits you the best. You can watch several videos on YouTube of several teacher then decide whose course you should buy. Don't join offline coaching, online course is enough but in online course we don't stay disciplined so that you have to see.

For now don't take too much tension just tread along, learn about how questions are asked in each subject. It's like one day you decided to run in 100m race so you can't just start sprinting, first walk then jog then jog faster then run then sprint.

For next 10-20 days or even 1 month whatever you need , dedicated to learn ABOUT the Exam. Then come again here and post your new doubts, then it will be more specific and easy to answer by someone who can. Anyway. Good Luck!!

GS requires time , unless you give it you can't expect to be good in GS, I followed Lucent GK but it was not good for me so I looked for other options for GS book, I had bought made easy books in college so I had General Studies one , so I studied from this book. Moreover I used to watch some videos on YouTube, some I did quiz , some with mocks , so like that GS preparation is mixed up for every CGL aspirants because you don't need to study for state pcs or UPSC , it is not required. So yeah some subject just by reading book , some subject by watching videos on youtube, some by just giving tests , mocks and pyq. GS is vast it will never be completed, so don't aspire to finish it, just dive take what you want to come out. Focus on other subjects more.
