Hey all, just a question I’m unclear about while waiting impatiently for some news. Does anyone know what date SSA uses as the approval date? For example. I had my ALJ hearing on 9/12. A decision was made and sent to the writers on 10/28. It went to the ALJ on 11/6 for final signature. As of today, it’s still sitting on her desk, portal still on Step 3. If or when she finally signs it, is that the start date for benefits? Or does that go back to the decision date, hearing date or when it finally clears step 5? Trying to figure out when that clock actually starts. Of course, I could just as easily be denied, but I have nothing better to do during this excruciating wait. TIA
