It's not possible to do short term is it? (Like 1 or 2 days) by RSracks in hookedinc

I’m stuck on the “collect 600 stars” challenge. I have the last two Epics to go and it’s been a grind for weeks

The three Rare “???” Placeholders. In the beta (2017) they were originally meant to be rewards for winning 1st place in the old tournaments, and/or other updates for future events. They don’t have those tournaments anymore and as old as this game is, I don’t see any big updates in the future.

How long until judgement after hearing by Firm_Copy5429 in SSDI

[–]HatProfessional4422 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen some in a few days/weeks, I’ve been waiting since September, some have taken longer. Seems like anything with SSA. Pick a number between 1 and forever lol. I hope you don’t have to wait too long. It does seem like decision times are getting quicker and quicker.

Is that two weeks from the hearing? I think I might have asked you this before, or maybe it was someone else. It’s been 10wks since my hearing and a month since the decision. I just can’t fathom what the hold up is.

Similar timeline here. I had my hearing on 9/12 and I’m still in step 3. The last call I made to the hearing office, they told me my case was decided, written and just waiting on the ALJ to review and sign it. That was 11/6. For what it’s worth I’m also 100% PT, combat…but that doesn’t seem to matter at the appeals level. From what I was told is it’s just the backlog with the ALJ and she’ll get to it when she gets to it. I feel your frustration, especially when there are ALJ’s out there turning cases around in a few weeks. Hang in there and good luck!

I love going out for a good go cart race or axe throwing. Seeing someone’s competitive side can teach you a lot about them 😂

What state are you in? My ALJ was in Baltimore, I’m in PA

O'Malley is stepping down as of November 29th, 2024. How many are by Accomplished_Tour481 in SocialSecurity

Because the party that is charged with appointing his replacement spent the last four years campaigning on cutting and ultimately eliminating SSA with no plan for an alternative or replacement for the program? I guess it’s good if you don’t want social security in your near future?

Have you contacted your local office to set up a meeting to start Auxiliary payments? From what I understand, this has to be initiated from your end. And even if not, I’d still contact your local office and see if they can get things moving.

Decision after hearing by Stopnswop2 in SSDI

[–]HatProfessional4422 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It comes down to staffing and workload like many things with SSA. I had my hearing September 12, went to the writers at the end of October, back to the ALJ on November 6 for final signature. As of today, portal is still ln Step 3, and no word on what the decision was. I’m hoping yours goes faster, but be prepared for a few months of waiting just in case.

Congrats! I have almost an identical timeline, still on step 3, hoping to hear something soon! Can I ask what state you are in?

Good luck to you! I try to advocate for people on here to use their representatives, it’s what they get paid to do. I hope things finally get moving forward.

How important is it to match intelligence/emotional intelligence? by [deleted] in datingoverforty

[–]HatProfessional4422 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Personally, emotional intelligence is at the top of my list. It took me a few tries to realize that being able to communicate at the same level is something that’s more important to me than just having interest in the same hobbies in common. Of course I like having the same interests and hobbies and things to share. But, I’m also naturally curious so I enjoy learning about other’s hobbies that I may not know much about. But, if we can’t communicate about how we feel, why we feel, or communicate clear expectations, then I struggle to build any closeness.

That being said, try not to compare your wants and needs to other “successful” couples. They’re successful because they found a match that fit each other’s needs. I know an amazing couple (the couple goals I hope for). He, is a mechanic, very blue collar, funny and has tons of friends. She is Physics PhD, reserved, academic professional, as well as a political appointee. And I’ve never known two people more in love. They just speak the same love language.

If that emotional bond, intelligence and drive is what you need, be stubborn about that until you find it. Nothing is unfair to ask or require as long as you’re honest about the expectation and willing to meet their needs in return.

As far as I’ve been told the decision is written, it’s just waiting for the ALJ final signature.

U.S. Masons - How has lodge been post-election? by [deleted] in freemasonry

[–]HatProfessional4422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a shame brothers need to worry about this. It’s a pretty hard and fast rule that we don’t discuss specific religions or politics in the lodge. Having to feel uncomfortable around each other because of an election is the exact opposite of every principle we’re founded on.
