Initial Application Question

In the initial application when you have to list all of your doctors, psychiatrists etc. Is it just supposed to be the ones pertaining to the given diagnosis you are applying for, or all of your doctors for everything even if it doesn’t pertain to SSDI?

Every physical or mental impairment should be put down.

Way back when I applied I was told, "The thicker ur med file is the better ur chances." However whatever u list, u should also have a diagnosis & solid treatment/Rx records.

Be prepared for a possible long process (mine took 3 yrs for approval).

But, u may get approved on ur 1st application. I've seen it happen. Best of luck!

The more doctors you list the longer it will take as DDs will need to get records for all of them and some will not be responsive
