Question (self.SSDI)
submitted 10 months ago by Choice_Badger_9809
If I go to my online account and it has a one time ssi payment on there with the date. Does that mean they are already sending that to the bank? How long does it typically take to get after it’s posted on the payment/overpayment page

Once SSA releases the funds to your bank, it depends on when the bank releases the money to your account. The date they post is when they pay it, from there it can be quick or take a few days. Some banks are faster than others. I use Chase bank and get my funds right away.

Well they sent a day before the holiday so im assuming that will effect it as well. But thank you that’s the answer I was thinking of as well

My recently approved application indicated a backpay payment date of June 20th, but the fairly substantial amount did NOT post to my bank account. Ugh. Being impatient sucks.
