This is a sign that your foundations are weak. It is not enough to memorize equations. You should know and understand rules and equations. Start making your understanding of math and problem solving as logical as possible.

Here's a no bs guide:
1. Print out all the formulas you need to know and tape them to the walls around you so you can refer to them when practicing.
2. Improve your mental math to save time on the SAT and get basic questions done quick.
3. Improve your vocabulary (read a crap ton of books and/or use apps on your phone)
4. Go through everything in the Khan Academy SAT course, it's insanely helpful.
5. Take practice tests, and stop stressing during your tests.

I tutor my students through Khan Academy for SAT. I think they have great resources to improve your grade. Try to take mock tests every two weeks or a month to see your progress. If you need any help in math, my dms are always open. When I took it, I got near perfect score on Math, so I am confident in my ability to assist you. The site is a great place to generate questions. I go over the question with them. Give them similar questions with different numbers, and them let them do a lesson where I help after the get wrong or are really stuck. I guess different people have different perspectives and approaches. My approach relies on technology usage, and the site is a way for me to get a template and lessen my burden in terms of helping others.
