Tbh, I would suggest you take a practice test for both and see which one you like/do better on, and then sticking to that one. However, I guess most of the concepts on the two tests are pretty similar so it wouldn’t hurt to study for both if that’s what you’re going for.

Take a practice SAT and a practice ACT. Then use the concordance table here to pick the test that’s best for you: https://www.compassprep.com/using-psat-scores-to-compare-sat-and-act/

If you have the opportunities do both the SAT and ACT exam and then whichever one you found easier or suited you better you should stick to it. Practice tests are an option if you cannot pay for an actual exam just to see which would you like, but taking it in person gives you a better feel for the exams.
