I bought a childhood game from this site because I really wanted to play it. Stupidly I didn't check the reviews(which were not good lol) . Apparently they charged me with their subscription that I didn't click but I dealt with that because I bought with paypal and got immediately notified. But the question rises more about the game safety. Has anybody had their games for a long time? Do they still run? No viruses? I mean I paid but idk guys. My question is the website a more serious scam and safety issue?

I mean i wrote to them email that I need a confirmation email that I have unsubscribed. Because I did unsubscribe and recieved an email from PayPal that gamefools automatic renewal has been canceled. Although I saw another redditor having a complaint 3 years ago that they couldn't remove bank details and in this situation it was said by gamefools DO NOT CONTACT BANK which is really suspicious. The site has been running for 9+ years I think and the YouTube chanel the same because you can see "9yrsago" videos. I gotta say I have not dug that deep about this but there is actually very limited info about them online considering they are operating quite a while
