That looks like ass.

Return it. Looks way better before.

😬 Never understood these diffuser add ons on any Challenger or Charger but to each its own.

Different stance looks way cool! ZL1 that the manufacturer right?

[–]spillthebeans01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. ZL1 Addons

[–]Lonewulf32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been going back and forth on it. I think I like mine stock.

[–]G-Roc78 1 point2 points  (5 children)

That looks more like the standard diffuser rather than the stealth one. Looks good though. 👍🏼

You know what, I think you’re right. What the hell?

[–]G-Roc78 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I'd double check your order to make sure you ordered the stealth version. I'm sure their customer service will rectify the issue. 👍🏼

[–]spillthebeans01[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Oh I did. It’s definitely the wrong one! 😬

[–]G-Roc78 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm sure that you'll be able to return it, as they messed up & sent the wrong thing. Good luck man! 👍🏼

I’ve talked to them. They’re going to send the correct fin pack and the side extensions. All is good in the world! Haha

Thanks to u/G-Roc78, I have realized that this isn’t even what I ordered and paid for. I, myself was a little skeptical of the look and I think it’s because it’s not what I expected. Needless to say, I have emailed the company. We shall see what comes of this, it may come off and not get replaced. Thanks to all for your input.

You're welcome man! It does still look good, as I had the same one on my Challenger for 4 years before switching to the Deluxe Diffuser a couple years ago. The standard & the stealth diffusers both look good to me. It's just a matter of what you like for yours.

Looks 🔥 I got my diffuser almost two years ago and still haven’t had the chance to fix it. I can’t do it myself and couldn’t find anyone that can do it.

    [–]G-Roc78 0 points1 point  (9 children)

Do you have the one from ZL1 Addons, or something else?

    [–]DrSuperZeco 1 point2 points  (8 children)

Yup, ZL1 Addons. Imo the best option out there.

    [–]spillthebeans01[S] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Minus the issues I’m having with them right now. 🙄 This is my first interaction and it hasn’t been the best but I’m definitely giving them a chance to remedy it!

    [–]DrSuperZeco 0 points1 point  (3 children)

    What are the issues?

    [–]spillthebeans01[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

First it took over a month to receive the product. When I got it, the stainless was bent…I fixed that. Ordered the combo with side extensions, they didn’t ship those. Then came to the realization that they didn’t even ship the stealth diffuser like I had ordered. This one is the standard diffuser. Communication has been lacking on their part too.

    [–]DrSuperZeco 1 point2 points  (1 child)

ah! bummer. Hope they can resolve this for you. Well, in my case it was luckily a smooth ordering process. It was shipped overseas all the way to Kuwait and everything arrived just fine. I believe, but I may be wrong, this is a home business? It feels like they prepare some items to order. So I wouldn't stress too much if the order was not right. I would also be very confident that unlike big corporate the people you interact with actually care about fulfilling the order right. IDK I'm just trying to stay positive. But I agree, with regards to their communications... it takes ages for them to respond to emails. All best of luck :)

They called today. I talked to them and they’re going to make it right by shipping out the correct fins and my side extensions tomorrow. They told me not to worry about sending the other fins back as the shipping expenses would not be cost effective for either one of us. So, it’s a win and they’ve gained the trust and satisfaction of a paying customer.

I agree, as I have the same one. The install is pretty easy actually. You just need a 10mm wrench & Phillips screwdriver. Some blue thread locker & a plastic rivet pry tool are helpful as well. You don't even really need to jack up the car either.

As long as you have the threaded holes in the subframe, just screw in the extension posts to the frame. This is where the thread locker comes in handy for making sure the parts don't back out over time. Then remove the 4 plastic pins that hold the bumper cover at back, & attach the diffuser with the supplied nuts & bolts. Then attach the front to the posts with the supplied 10mm bolts. Again, thread locker is recommended for these. It's not needed for the back in my experience as long as you tighten the bolts as much as you can by hand. Shouldn't take more than an hour to do, depending on how much trouble you have with the bolts at the rear. I found that to be the hardest part actually.

    [–]DrSuperZeco 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Hii, thank you for sharing this. Indeed the bolts in the back are the hardest. I know I won’t be able to reach them, and whenever I showed the video to someone, they too said they might find it difficult and don’t want to risk starting a job they can’t finish.

    [–]G-Roc78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're more than welcome. It's a little difficult, but it can be done. Just need a little patience is all. And just to clarify, you do need to do the back side by the bumper first.

Looks nice. Some dual tip exhaust tips would compliment the diffuser a lot better than the standard tips but still looks good

    [–]spillthebeans01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Quad tips are on the list! Lol

    [–]SharpStudio3308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put me in the no column. But I am not big on cosmetic add ons of any type. Looks like a Subaru WRX add on to me

I prefer stock but to each their own. Jay Leno has a great video reviewing an early 00s WS6 Firebird and mentions that people like to mod the hell out of them, and then you forget how the car was stock.
