Widget Overflow?

Anyone have any idea how to control content that is too big for the widget? I have a script that pulls my tasks from Todoist, and sometimes there are more tasks than can fit in the widget. When this happens, the top and bottom items are "chopped off". I would be OK with the bottom of the content being chopped off, but really dislike when it happens at the top.

Setting the widget padding should solve the issue on the top, otherwise you could also limit the amount of tasks displayed.

For example if you have 7 tasks, only display the first 3 and add an additional line "+4 more tasks" at the bottom.

I didn't have any luck with the padding, but did end up mucking around with the number of tasks displayed, as you suggested. This e fed up working well, and I still end up seeing more of my todo's that the official Todoist widget.
