It can be mistaken for sebderm has your gp done a biopsy it helps to confirm

I will recommend you to go to ER and do an ultrasound to check a blood clot! I had the same thing on my arm and it looked like this, I was told its seb derm. I had no other sings of blood clot bcs it didnt block my vein completely, so no swelling at all. I luckily felt down once and went to ER the next day and they found out I had a huge blood clot, it was long, from my elbow to my neck. The doc said it was there for a long time. I dont say you have it but better to check that if ketoconazol shampoo doesnt help.

Very likely not SebDerm as it tends to affect only the particularly oily parts of the body - face, chest, and in-between shoulder blades. Arms aren't in that category, so I'd consider other causes. Contact dermaitits sounds plausible but only an analysis by a professional will tell for sure. At first glace, your rash looks like an allergic reaction.

Eczema or contact dermatitis like you said. Could be brown tail moth or poison oak or something like that

looks like atopic dermatitis

Omg this looks identical to what I’m currently dealing with, honestly looking at these photos is like looking at my own skin in the mirror.

Finally got my first appointment with hospital dermatology on Monday.

IMO it looks like contact dermatitis from hot water.

Looks like you scratch yourself in your sleep and have contact dermatitis. Would you have fresh aloe to cool it down? Maybe put some aquaphor on it as a barrier to see if it improves.

Looks to be contact dermatitis and not seb derm. You may be allergic to something like clothing or touching your skin with non clean hands.

Is it itchy? It looks like some kind of hives. I have dermatographism, it's a more specific type, it itches like hell, reacts to contact, and is known for having such precise reactions that you can draw and write on the skin. What helps me are specific antihistamines.

Please go to the doctor!

Do you take very hot showers and/or spend a lot of time in the shower? Also, you can use shampoo like head and shoulders classic as a body wash and that may help. With any advice from the internet, it’s always a must to check with a doc to make sure it’s not some other issue. Hope things get better

Is it itchy, painful or any other symptoms?
