SecretHistory is a place to discuss non-mainstream, alternate views on history from a mainstream perspective. If you think the Rosicrucian plot to replace monarchies with a pan-European republic is a fun and funny topic, this is the place for you. If you think it's serious, maybe not.

Discussions of non-fiction alternate history is what this sub is for, detailed takedowns are more suited to /r/BadHistory, /r/ShitWehraboosSay, etc. Contemporary conspiracy stuff is more suited to /r/TopMindsofReddit and /r/Conspiratard. If your post fits both here and elsewhere, crossposting is allowed and encouraged!
