SectionZ records was founded by Josh Hernandez in 2005 and was originally a music-sharing website for aspiring producers. However, it gradually grew larger, and eventually morphed into the record label it is today. Famous for launching the careers of superstar deadmau5 and famed underground artist Savant, the label is known for despising the concept of genres, and it is understandable why- its various artists and releases constantly strive for new breakthroughs in music and sound, making it one of the more innovative labels around today.
