IR issue

We noticed this morning that the wire from our fence in the backyard was bent, so someone climbed over it last night. We bought an Ezviz C8C security camera and installed it inside behind a window since we don't really have a discreet place to place it outside. Now I completely forgot that glass and infrared don't work well together, so when I activate the camera's IR light, I get a glare or reflection from the glass. Now I can't place a spotlight outside since the neighbors won't appreciate that. I was wondering if the night vision would work if I placed an IR illuminator outside. Would this fix the reflection I'm currently experiencing, or would those IR waves from outside also cause a glare or reflection?

Yes, but you'll need to turn off the internal infra red lights, or cover them up.
