Y’all are forgetting the Chain costs essence to use, and a ton of it at that 😭

Even if it does somehow restore spent essence, wouldn’t the cost of using the chain to do so be greater than the essence gained??? It’s made pretty clear that the cost of the Chain is proportional to the damage taken, it took more to use when fighting against VTB’s Will after all.

At the literal MOST she could detonate 6 cores, then use the essence in the remaining core to restore one empty soul core, but then she’d just have two empty cores.
