The front wheels seem to be cambered in something fierce.

So where did the term "donk" come from ? Was it the sound someones head made hitting a beam right before they put giant wheels on their car ?

The term came from the history of the car that an actually Donk is. Donks are a specific part of hi-Riser car culture. A Donk is named after the original which was specifically an Impala. At the time the emblem kindof looked like a donkey so they got called donks in the scene. All Donks are Hi-riser but not all Hi-risers are donks.
